My name is Correne Prokop and I am thrilled that you are considering taking classes with me.
I have been a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists for 11 years and have enjoyed painting for a total of 14 years.
I was a very typical beginner when I first started painting in Kelowna in 1997, I didn’t know the first thing about painting, let alone, I could barely draw a stick man (and I still can’t draw!). But I decided to try my hand at painting anyways. I fell in love with it and painting has been my passion ever since.
I feel that one should follow their passion in life, so I began teaching. To be able to share my love of art, everyday, and to be able to teach techniques and skills to students of all levels is a dream come true. I love to teach and I love to paint, and I’d love nothing more than to share this with you.
